Snow bridges

This is what is left of an avalanche across the path from Pont de Nant to La Vare. It was amazing to see the amount of snow that is still there and the snow bridges, with fallen trees resting on them were fabulous. Don’t think they will last much longer. The extra shows the amount of snow that has been cut out to make way for farm vehicles.

Went on a walk with Alijay and her husband this afternoon on a mission to find marmots. Unfortunately, the melt water in the streams meant that we couldn’t cross one of them and we had to turn back.
