Ladies Club

It's Thursday and we'd arranged with Diane to meet up for a "mall walk". However, we decided to check out Zabeel Ladies Club instead. There is an Icons Coffee Couture outlet in there and we went under the guise of wanting a cup of coffee!

So, as the crow flies, this club is less than a kilometre from where we live, but to get to it is longwinded. We arrived before 11 and got served Arabic coffee and a date whilst we waited for a member of staff to show us the facilities.

The main purpose of the club is to help women look after their health and well-being. There is a gym, sauna, swimming pool, running track, tennis court etc etc etc. Only women are allowed; even the gardeners are ladies! We were all very impressed with the place and had an extended chat over coffee, so much so, it was lunchtime when we got home.

It was very hot and humid today, so we didn't venture out again. AWANA is now over so the next item on the agenda was T@3 (at 6:30) and getting on with my new captioning job. We are both relieved it's the weekend.
