Sixth day in Norfolk
Our last day. Weather forecast said rain all day, so we headed for the city. In fact it only rained til mid morning. A wonderful city, with lots of medieval buildings remaining, I suppose it wasn’t much of a target for bombing in WW2. The main is of an amazing garden, and a flint house, in the cathedral close. The first extra is of an important jug issued by Wedgewood in 1800 - which is in Norwich museum. And the second extra is the stained glass window, part of the ceiling and entrance to the cathedral. We went to choral evensong, the singing was fabulous.
