Hen-let

Went across the bridge to Aldi (a change is as good as a rest, they tell me, although I'm not convinced) and on the way noticed that the moorhen who took over the old swan's nest under the bridge has managed to raise two young 'uns to this size at least. Suppose they've spent most of their most vulnerable time poking around in the shadow of the bridge, where gulls cannot swoop on them. I didn't get a decent shot with them both in.

Oh and another day of maths - the exam marking has started now. :-(

In other news, I picked up some remarkably cheap telescopic loppers in the middle of Aldi (as you do).
