Octagonal

Another strange sort of day at work, it was even cool enough to want to wear long trousers too...

Today's abstract blip is a French Vichy mint, made in Vichy France. It's a pressed sugar mint, which has the famous salts from the spa along with the peppermint oil and sugar. As far as I care it's a mint and I like mints. They are famously octagonal in shape, the tins come in the same shape... The GIMP mosaic filter has used octagonal tiles to make the pattern, though they aren't as obvious in their shape as the underlying mint.

Apparently I've blipped a Vichy mint before...!
