All in a morning's volunteering

Today was my first day volunteering with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, between four of us we managed to fill the load bed of the pick up with gravel and stone and then fill in a badly eroded and very muddy section of footpath. Added bonus was sitting by the river for lunch and seeing some beautiful Southern Marsh orchids. Plenty of demoiselles around too. Looking forward to returning with my camera but most importantly to volunteer again in a couple of weeks :)
