Yummy

Very yummy...

I topped up all the feeders early this morning as the birds were all out in force with the sunshine but it was frosty so they would have needed that bit of extra! What a gorgeous start to the day: crisp, clear, blue skies and sun - who could ask for more?

In all fairness the birds couldn't have asked for more choice, with peanuts, sunflower hearts, niger seed, raisins, fat balls being on the table for breakfast and it all got a bit hectic with the odd quarrel breaking out! Why?!!! There was more than enough food for a whole flock!

My little blue tit started off with a huge peanut and dropped it on the floor. Standing on the edge of the feeder dithering, looking at me he didn't know what to do. He decided eventually to just go and get another but this time carefully taking it onto a branch to dispatch it before another voracious bird got it! With one eye on me of course!
