Abstract - Shapes

This is the centre of a marquetry* tray that my Dad made many, many years ago, when I was a child.  I have altered the colour and given a ripple distort effect in Serif Photo Plus.
It is a bit battered and worse for wear, but it has been around for a very long time.  Still a useful little tray when covered with a tray cloth.
I have put the original as an extra.  Thank you to Ingeborg for hosting this week's abstract challenge with the subject of Shapes.
