Irises

My very favourite flower is definitely an iris :-)

We have about 10 different varieties in the garden - purple, mauve & pale yellow :)

In the main picture the iris was given to me by some very kind houseguests a couple of years ago & for many years I’ve tried to find a sisyrinchium to grow with the irises and been unsuccessful. This beautiful plant was given to me by a very kind WI friend from her garden :-)
