Ben Wyvis

Up Ben Wyvis today - a well-defined and maintained path through forest, then steep uphill before reaching the summit over mossy moorland. It went well apart from the relentless and sometimes terrifying wind on the steep exposed section to reach An Cabar.

Spectacular views all around including Cromarty and a raft of mountains.

Just over six hours and great to get back to the car, take the boots off and enjoy a flask of tea.
