Progress

I've found a suitable pool.  The municipal pool in Mountlake Terrace, a town just north of Seattle, has a ramp to enter into the pool and a flowing "river" through which I can walk against the water, which is great exercise.  I think I can also do some minor swimming, but I'll have to see the set-up.  I have a swim appointment for next Wednesday, before which time I'll need to figure out my swimsuit situation, which is always tricky.  Oh, to be an average size!

Also good news: the sandals I purchased to wear to Sarah's wedding have arrived and they're just what I needed and comfortable to boot.  So much so that I've ordered another pair in a different color.  With my odd size feet, it's wonderful to think that I will have more than one pair, and they'll fit.

Otherwise it was a day for laundry, cooking, researching pools and swimsuits, and playing with Sylvie.  Looking out the window in the workroom, I saw these branches silhouetted on the pavement outside and liked the pattern they make.

It's lovely to have a day on which things go right.  I hope all of you had such days as well.
