Cenarth Falls

The day started mizzly and misty so we decided to go up the coast to explore Aberaeron which looked attractive when we drove through it on the way here. We soon drove out of the wettish stuff and the colourful houses in Aberaeron does make it a good looking port. Every house is painted a jaunty hue and it does resemble a three-dimensional swatch card. All are so well maintained it made us wonder how the town managed to get so much coordination and property proud support ?
The other endearing feature of the small town is its array of good eating and drinking venues. Just the job for a lovely lunch, brie with salad, cous cous and olive bread toast. The most amazing toast I have ever had, its not easy to get excited about toast but this one did it for me.

We moved onto Llangrannog but as we approached we could see the sea mist moving up the hill and it was wet down at the sea front, only the lifeguard was out there, looking very bored.

Next stop was a move inland and dryer conditions again. A river walk in Cenarth. When there we recognised it from one of those shutdown tv travel shows. This place was covered by Susan Calman when she floated down the river in the traditional coracle. The old water mill on the river Teifi proved to be too picturesque not to blip.
