Weetabix the Builder

They used to call my brother Weetabix when he was little because he was always building Lego models. ‘Weetabix The Builder’ was apparently the Weetabix catchphrase many years ago.
some things don’t change though, including small children’s love of construction toys. In RE we are learning about ‘Special Places’. I challenged the children to work in teams to build a house out of various construction kits in 5 minutes. They worked brilliantly together and managed some pretty elaborate models in the given time.
I’m currently sitting outside listening to the bell ringers. It feels very humid so we might be in for a storm.
