River reflections

Another very hot day, but it is all change from tomorrow when the temperature drops by several degrees and rain is expected.

After lunch I went into the village as I needed to get a few things, and I took these photos of the reflections on the river for the Wide Wednesday challenge. 

Tommy finished university exams today, which must be a relief for him, and I hope he can have some fun now. Instead of end of year summer balls they are having garden parties but I am not sure how that works with the Covid regulations. Hopefully he will get vaccinated soon as they are up to 21 years old now and he is next. Meriel was vaccinated today with the Moderna vaccine, as all under 40's are not being vaccinated with the Astra Zeneca vaccine. I guess those of us vaccinated with the AZ vaccine will be getting a booster which has been tweaked for the variants in the autumn, as the AZ vaccine is pretty useless against the SA variant and is not that great against the Indian variant. To be fair the science is still shaky on that as there has not been that much evidence on people who have had both vaccines until recently.
