paint can

This is the old can; we took it to the California Paint store, and were able to buy a quart can of the 'same color' paint .. ie, mixed on the same kind of base to the same specification as the old one was.  Color matching is a huge rathole, even for something as seemingly straightforward as white exterior wood trim paint ... aiming to avoid the rathole and put some paint on the door.  

The 15th was open up day for California - no more scheduling appointments at the pool, no more masks required for fully vaccinated people in the now open changing rooms.  

Too warm for an evening walk. Due to be still hotter for the rest of the week.
