old man of storr

Took a run up the north end of Skye this afternoon hoping to get some work related photographs but the weather really was n't conducive for the photos I needed so I turned around and headed back for Portree.

As I was passing the Old Man of Storr I stopped for a blip because I liked the cloud lingering behind him and the contrast of colours between the grass and trees.

I took the shot in both colour and mono but decided to go for the colour version because of the lovely colour contrasts in the landscape.
Jock the dog is much better today, eating and drinking more but still wobbly on his back legs. Still waiting for final test results to come back so we can get a clear picture of the problem although it is definitely heart related which has in turn affected his kidney and liver function, as the vet said, it is all about quality of life so hopefully with the help of medication we can get him stablised and fit enough to enjoy life again.
