VENETIAN - LAS VEGAS

We got a great deal on going to Las Vegas, the only down side was the flights. Edinburgh - London, London - Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Vegas. With the stops made about 24hrs in total.
To try to get round Jet lag we stayed up till about 4am before we left to catch early morning flight, then managed to crash out abit on the plane, so got to Vegas late evening - fresh enough to play a few hours at the cash tables :->

This is the Venetian hotel, built on the site of the original Sands hotel home of the Rat Pack. The place is just amazing, can't be many hotels you can take a gondola ride through! We went to see Phantom of the Opera at their purpose built munti-million pound theatre - don't think I'd bother again though it was pretty crap.
