A full day of taking Kristie to Falls Church to visit old friends, whom she used to know in Seattle, while Mom and I drank cappuccinos at the new North Side Social. This was followed by an hour tour of DC. They’ve seen the sights before, and Mom isn’t walking too far too easily these days, so we it was mostly a driving tour. The weather was wonderful. I’m not sure I’ve ever said that here during summer! And traffic was cooperative too...ditto.

Thank you very much for the congratulations and nice comments lately. This week has been a whirlwind. Tomorrow is the final day of Mom and Kristie’s visit. We will fly out to visit them in Seattle end of next week.

And today was Daniel's last day of school for the summer!
