My swim buddy.

We were brought together 6 weeks ago by a mutual friend because we were both interested in cold water dipping.

We clicked straight away and talked, laughed, swam, drank tea, talked and talked some more.

We've helped each other make sense of our lives with swimming in the cold water being our beautiful backdrop.

She's moving back to England and I'm not looking forward to her going.

But I know more than most that people come into your life to share and listen; some stay a lifetime and some for just a few seconds.
