Pincushion

A bit of a weary Tuesday today with a plan needed to cover for someone for the day required first thing, meetings and teaching this afternoon. It's been warm again and I even have a little patch of sunburn from being on the field for half an hour at lunchtime. Warmer still tomorrow apparently before torrential rain on Thursday. Until then, the garden is requiring watering in an evening and tonight there was time to take my camera out there too. Astrantias are apparently also known as Hattie's pincushion (no idea where the Hattie part comes from) and you can definitely see why in this shot.
