Comet PanSTARRS

Comet PanSTARRS has made its appearance in the northern hemisphere. It is still very low in the sky and difficult to pick out of the soup of sunset. In the next few days, it should be easily visible with good eyesight. Binoculars and a camera lens were necessary last evening. I used a mechanical 20mm wide angle lens on a Nikon D5100. The camera and lens were set a f/4, ISO640 for 1sec. A tripod and cable release were also used. This photo was taken near Etna Green, IN.
