Street gutter

I fully admit I hate yard work. I can think of a million other things to do. Yes I mow on the weekends and yes I feel better after it's done but the edging? Edging may not ALWAYS get done. Sweeping up the clippings that may be in the gutter along the street? Yeah not so much. The gutter along the front of my house had gotten bad, bad enough that I was contemplating getting a shovel to move along the more persistent patches of baked on mud with plants growing out of them. Imagine my glee when coming home tonight I found the street sweeper had been through the neighborhood! Apparently this made me happy enough that it's my blip for today. It's the little things in life sometimes that raise the spirit.
