Best Laid Plans

A pic from our holiday last week.
Having researched via the web on "Visit Scotland" we set off for Ballindalloch Castle. Although the castle was closed we understood the grounds - gardens would be open. Nope!  So we tried the Cooperage. No joy. The Birds of Prey Centre? Non. Shortbread Factory shop? Uh Uh. Distilleries - no way Jose.
We did manage to see the Pictish Stones - all 5 of them.
But just as we'd decided to throw the towel in we saw this old bridge from the main road. Now Mr. TW isn't one for turning round, but I prevailed (ie nagged) and we went back. It turned into a lovely day, walking alongside the Spey and coming across a lovely little pub for a late lunch. Took loads of photos of this Telford Bridge.
And of course I just HAD to photo himself playing on the zip wire!
