Beach day

Today I took my Mum and daughter to Goring on Sea to visit my aunt and to have a beach day. She has got us use of a beach hut for the day through a friend which was amazing. We ventured down for a paddle and in discovering the water was very warm my daughter and I went in for a swim! It was great! I can’t remember the last time I swam in the sea!!

We had our picnic lunch and caught up. Then we walked down the promenade to have a cup of tea and a cake at the beach cafe. All very nice - enormous slices of cake!

We have left Mum with my Aunt to stay for the week. They are going to do some NT properties and garden visits.

All in all a lovely day.
