Pot cat

My friend has the unenviable task of helping to empty the house of her deceased aunt. A job which means countless trips to the old house and ploughing through the hoarded treasures (?) of a life.

This 'Winstanley Cat' is one such treasure, dusty and careworn, it's belly contains a newspaper cutting about the death of the potter, Jenny Winstanley, who had made a name for herself making ceramic cats in North Walsham, Norfolk, in the 1950's
