Roofscape

This morning I visited the family who moved into our old flat in town, a few years ago.

Walking into the house and up the stairs did make me feel quite nostalgic. Watching the swifts fly all around us from the roof terrace, even more so.

I never took a panorama photo from the roof terrace while we lived there, so I used the rare chance today. It pans for more than 180 degrees from the city centre in the east, over the roofscape of Wiesbadens (old but not very glamorous) Westend quarter in the south, to the faraway Taunus hills in the west.
