Steady
Elaine packed her car with all her purchases and left after breakfast as l went out to Zumba. Gosh l did enjoy it.
Home and l had to decide whether to start prepping some walls and paintwork l need to paint before my handyman comes to wallpaper next week or go look at some sofas in a showroom at Apperley Bridge.
Decided on the latter, got there fairly quickly and found what l was looking for and chose the fabric and specifications.
Now ordered.
Then drove to Otley to see the local electrical firm l use and trust.
Explained how l needed my TV moving to the opposite side of the room, sounds a simple a job but it’s not and will take four or five hours to do properly as it will take a lot of rewiring and rerouting of cables.
They can do it tomorrow or l might have to wait a while as they are so busy.
It’s funny how when you do one job it leads to a dozen more so this afternoon l have dismantled the sofa bed in the spare downstairs room.
( Mr P had his fixed cycle in there and the mini trampoline )
Took me quite a while but once l’d undone the bolts that connected the arms and sawed some bits off l could get it in the back of my car and take it to the tip.
Now need to ask my Rebecca and Mike to move my sofa into the spare room to make way for the new one.
Moved some more furniture around and put the lamp on this unit with this plant, it was a bit wobbly but l put a little bit of felt under one corner and now it’s STEADY. There l got the word in finally :-))
Thank you Majoayee for hosting MM this week.
