Thirty-nine years ago today.

The Falkland War ended.
By coincidence just started reading this book about crew & others that were on board SS Canberra during that time.
She also appeared in the ‘71 James Bond film “Diamonds Are Forever” she was put out of service in ‘97.
Lest we forget the tragic loss of personnel from both sides & also the effect the war  had on those who survived.
