Some days I can take a number of photos and they just don't speak to me. Or quite a few of them do. Or the first one you take is always your favorite.

Well, this is one of those. Taken before 8 a.m. and I just love it.

I took a lot of photos today, but none like this.

None make me feel the way this one does.

The dimple in the chin.
The slight smirk with the twinkle in the eye.
The "big boy" cup.
The snuggles in the bed amongst numerous books.
The quilt Grandma made

Is it a great photo? By most standards, not so much.

But to me, it is perfect...because I can almost hear the laughter when I look at this.

A huge, huge Happy Birthday to the person who makes my world go round. What would I do without you....
