Frog Dissection

The global test was the hardest we've had all year but in pretty sure I did well. Today was the day for frog dissections! I got to cut the jaw with scissors and it was a little tough with the bones. Ours is a female so someone in my group named it Lady Gaga. I honestly have no idea why.

Track was not good today with the workout situation. I am completely unmotivated and ache in my stomach and legs. Today was a V 1200, 800, 400, 800, 1200 and I was supposed to hit 84 a lap. To give you an estimate of roughly how I did: 4:36, 2:54, 80, 3:00, and 4:47. It's pretty consistent pacing, but not where I was supposed to be. Even the last one Caity Mac wanted only 90 a lap. In winter track that would have been no problem. I took an ice bath even though all the ice melted as soon as it hit the water. It was freezing for the first 10 minutes but I got used to it. I showered shortly afterwards and then got on to schoolwork.

Unfortunately besides pain and suffering, track workouts also like to make me get home at very late hours. I'm happy that I didn't have a lot of homework so I could work on my English outline. This essay will be my redemption for writing. I'm getting ready so I can have a revitalizing sleep.
