It Poured Today!

Goodness, the promised rain has come and delivered a walloping amount of rain. The earth feels cleansed and soaked and all the plants (the ones that aren't bent to the ground with the weight of the rain) are loving it. 

This begonia is no exception. I grew these last year and saved the tubers....starting them up again this spring and was delighted that they've all come back. This is the first to bloom...doesn't it look like a luscious confection?
