Ducks at the Lake House

While visiting a friends new Lake House today, we sat on the porch and enjoyed all of the wildlife visiting the lake. There were pelicans, ducks, and assorted shore birds. The ducks have grown from little hatchlings and are getting big and love showing off. We had a wonderful nature infusion and then were off to lunch at a wonderful new restaurant, Cafe Au Lait, where the cappuchino was the most velvety I have ever had, and the food superb. The off to Pine Avenue for some cheese shopping, and then going to a most wonderful Italian take out place, Chery and Vinny's Italian Take out where I found a charming sugar bowl and creamer from Italy, along with wonderful bread and assorted goodies. A day with a friend is a wonderful soul practice. We so enjoyed it all!
