The old railway

Another early morning walk with Judd, although not as early as some have been. The sun was well up by the time we set off, but it was often hidden behind some clouds coming off the Bunya Mountains that are to the east of here.

This old railway isn't any longer in use it seems, but it used to connect the grain silos and the towns throughout the area. Trucks and buses now do the work of the trains and the railway remains as a reminder of what this town used to be like before the rural decay started to work its ways through the region.
