The dropped stitch

Have puddings will travel

A meal out this evening, and I volunteered to take a pudding.
Lemon posset and shortbread.

My store of empty cardboard boxes has been pared down to a minimum and there was nothing of a suitable size, but the pink trug (used to take washing out to the washing line) did the job perfectly. I put it on the back seat of the car (strapped in, of course), and the puddings arrived safe and sound.

Such a lovely evening. A leisurely meal, interesting conversation and some studying of old maps. Perfect.
