Another Butterfly!

It made my day to see this female White Admial, and even more so to capture a few photos! She flitted and flew, here and there. It was a bit tricky but I was able to track and follow her until she finally elevated to this leaf dangling from one of the trees growing along the edge of the lawn • We enjoyed a picnic breakfast at the river this morning. So many wonderful sights: mature eagles, mallard ducks, Stanley sturgeon and cedar waxwings. After a lovely start we returned to the garden to add soil to our growing potatoes and spot water • It’s hard to believe the weekend is coming to a close.
