In The Shade

Much of the day spent at the shady end of the garden - watching the busy bird life.  

Lots of the youngsters learning the rules - including a set of very trusting juvenile starlings (one pictured) and at least one young blackbird.  Noises from a nest overhead suggests that we'll soon have some young magpies to add to the cast.
