The Waadfisker (Westerlauwers Fries) is a statue of Frans Ram. It stands at the bottom of the seawall in memory of herring fishing with the help of chicks that were set up perpendicular to the seawall. Due to the construction of the Afsluitdijk, hundreds of waders in this region lost their jobs.. Koehool is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Friesland. It is located on the Wadden Sea north of Tzummarum and west of Dijkshoek and Westhoek. The municipality of the hamlet is located on the Sedyk (Zeedijk) in the Hornestreek.
