Broad-Bodied-Chaser

A relaxed start to the day today lovely sunshine and warm weather. We decided to head out to Chamber wood to search out some Butterfly shots . I was surprised when we arrived that it was not very busy which was good. We took a walk out to little scrubs meadow hoping to get some shots of Marsh Fritillary butterflies . Sadly it has been a poor year for them so not many around normally there is hundreds we probably saw about 30. On the way back we went into the Butterfly garden to see if there was much around. We was rewarded with this beautiful male Broad-bodied-chaser Dragonfly that was flying around the pond . I got in position and then stood and waited for it to settle in front of me. In the end I was rewarded with this shot . A couple of other shots can be seen HERE which includes a couple of Marsh fritillary 
Back home to watch England play football , they managed to win 1-0 .
Film night again tonight or some  Netflix viewing
