Down by the riverside, again.

Had a text from Des early this morning, to say he had an upset tummy, so wouldn't be going to the gym.  When I arrived Vic was waiting for me, so we were allowed in a bit before time. I was pleased to see Ann ( I haven't seen her since the first look down) . Ann was 70 last weekend, and lost her Mum to covid during the second lockdown. Mind you, her Mum was 99, not far off her 100th birthday, and at least she had all her family with her when she passed away. I like going to the gym on a Sunday as I see a different group of people. Just as I was leaving, I saw Tracy, another lady I haven't seen for a very long time, and she just celebrated her 50th birthday. It was good to catch up on all their news. It was very hot when I  walked out, so I did a short walk through the field's, as I  wanted to get home as quickly as possible. I was a bath of sweat when I got in, but soon cooled off as the house was lovely & cool.  When J got home, he said the roads to the coast we so busy. We are having bacon chops with French beans later, with apple pie & ice cream for dessert.
