It isn't hard.

Today the Mayor of Winchester presented me and many other people, an award in recognition for the work that we do for the community. Mine was in recognition for the work that I do helping to run Winchester Community Choir.

Each person or group was called up in alphabetical order. I wasn't paying much attention to which letter of the alphabet we had got to and stuffed a sandwich in my mouth. And of course that was the moment that my name was said. The decision was to spit the sandwich out or eat it as fast as possible. I chose the latter and was still eating the sandwich when I shook hands with the Mayor - major embarrassment.
