Male Mallard Duck

I had to go to our mall today, and this trail and pond is right off of a main road, so I went there to see what was shaking. Not much, actually. But this fella flew in and even though mallards are very common, he is still a handsome chap, don't you think? I took my "stick", the new monopod and I was happy that this photo came out pretty darn sharp.

After the mall, it was to the grocery store and now I'm going to go on a short walk while Bill recovers from his job at the nursery. It tires out his feet, but he likes working there. AND, somebody gave him a dozen farm fresh eggs. Perks!! We like perks.

Oh, and it's warm today. As in WARM! So, best get to that little walk. See ya later.
