Dawn Light at Riverside Park….

The overall name of this area of the Taylor River environs is Riverside Park. A smaller area of development here is called “The Quays”. It commemorates the coastal shipping days of the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century when small coastal ships tied up here…. A very important part of trade within New Zealand before the development of a national railroad system and a network of highways.
