Flowers and fluffies

Yesterday I went for a walk around Ifton Meadows and I saw a bird dart out from close to where I was walking. Asit flew into the light I realised that it was a green woodpecker!  Unfortunately it had gone before I could take it's photo but lovely to see.

The wild flowers were looking good and there were swathes of ox-eye daisies looking lovely in the sun.  We used to call them dog daisies when I was young.
