The Shimmer

I had a meeting in the City Chambers in Glasgow this morning, so took the red eye from Alloa and had a stroll around the Merchant City as it came to life.

Something drew me in to photograph this building. I didn't realise what it was really until I uploaded it and looked properly - it was the shimmer of reflected sunshine from the building opposite on the red stone - made the building glow. Like a great big beauty dish.
