Humber Dawn

For once I was out just after sunrise walking my patch with Jorgie.
Multitudes of birds singing everywhere but, with the grass and crops now grown so tall, there was nothing visible in the fields.

The day got hotter and hotter so I was pleased to get some miles in first thing.

In the evening we had an impromptu Bar b with friends in their wonderful garden. Still hot until the sun dipped below the trees and then suddenly chilly.As we left after 10pm, it was still light with the western sky glowing orange on the horizon
