Proboscis maintenance..

... I took about 10 photos in a couple of minutes of this bee-fly (the one that mimics a bee and then eats the bee's larva), adjusting the light, focus and position and the bee-fly seemed to be playing with the droplet at the end of the proboscis, for she was completely still, except for the fact that the droplet was there, then it wasn't, then it reappeared..and so on! Maybe it was cleaning the "tube" or removing an obstruction! It was hypnotizing!
