New shingles

Our friend down the road is having the shingles on his roof replaced. I was walking too early to catch any of the work being done. That's a lot of work and it's looking really good. 
It was a perfect morning for a brisk walk, a nice cool breeze with a mix of sun and cloud. I ran into a woman who sometimes walks the road too, and I hadn't seen her for ages. We had a chat and it was really good to catch up with her. Other than that, 2 cars passed me and I didn't see anyone else. I did a few things in the garden then vacuumed the downstairs. 
When I was out in the garden, G came to tell me about Christian Eriksen from the Denmark football team collapsing. Scary! He's in stable condition in hospital and we really hope he's okay.
