Tiddlers!

I thought that these balers were obsolete, that the large cylinders were now the only bales made.  Perhaps it is obsolete, and this is a small farmer who needs only the small bales.

I heard the noise of the baler from our garden and wondered what it might be; I suppose that I might have recognised the sound from working on a farm decades ago, a farm that used combines without a storage tank and where small bales were the vogue.  Small bales were great for making castles . . .
