Stepping Stones

These stepping stones can be more daunting than they look, especially if the river is running high, or if they are wet. Even today, they required a degree of confidence and good balance. The granite, stepping stones span the East Dart River on Darmoor, and are on a footpath leading to the tiny hamlet of Babeny. I don't think many people pass this way, which does make it feel a bit special.
