Today's the day ......................... to paint

This is where I found Will this morning - painting a watercolour in one of his recently finished projects - our new summerhouse in the garden.

It's the perfect place to get a bit of peace and quiet, away from any distractions.  There's plenty of natural light coming in through three of the sides - and a fabulous view over the River Dee, way down below.  He wasn't looking at that this time though because he was painting a portrait of someone special, who has a birthday today.

We've been invited to her birthday party tomorrow - so we'll see if it goes down well ........................!
